Project Description

Under the project “Living Together Without Discrimination,” funded by the European Union Trust Fund in partnership with AECID and Morocco’s CNDH, Aïda Kheireddine of Fek Tayri Consulting was engaged to co-facilitate a training process on mechanisms for addressing racial and xenophobic discrimination. This initiative aimed to analyze the needs of civil society organizations (CSOs) in combating discrimination, utilizing the Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) framework. The process provided deeper insights into CSOs’ perceptions and practices, supporting them in driving meaningful change. Fek Tayri co-developed a comprehensive training program, blending theoretical content with interactive activities rooted in popular education methodologies. The goal was to demystify concepts related to countering racial and xenophobic discrimination while integrating practical tools and inclusion strategies. The project also included 13 participatory workshops for CSOs, designed to disseminate knowledge for understanding and dismantling systemic racial and xenophobic discrimination. These workshops fostered a collective, reflective approach, encouraging participants to actively transform attitudes and practices within their organizations and communities. This collaborative effort aimed to strengthen institutional and social capacities for equitable and inclusive action.
