Project Description
This project aimed to build the capacity of a group of trainers to enhance their skills in educating program coordinators working with Sex Workers (SW), Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), People Who Inject Drugs (PWID), and migrant populations. A key focus was placed on combination prevention strategies tailored to adolescents and youth within these groups, addressing their unique vulnerabilities and needs. The initiative also focused on revising and updating a combination prevention training toolkit, followed by facilitating a Train-the-Trainer workshop using the revamped materials. Conducted in collaboration with Morocco’s National AIDS Program, this effort sought to harmonize methodologies with national public health goals and empower coordinators to implement inclusive, evidence-based interventions. By strengthening technical expertise and fostering knowledge exchange, the project contributed to more effective, rights-based programming for key populations at higher risk of HIV and marginalization.
