Usmen Med Ouabbou

Bio

Usmen Med Ouabbou is a therapist specializing in the Person-Centered Approach (PCA), a humanistic method that places the individual at the heart of the therapeutic process. He combines robust theoretical training, deep practical insight, and active engagement with socially vulnerable populations. His work focuses on emotional release, well-being, and autonomy in personal growth, while integrating awareness of systemic oppressions and their impacts on socially excluded individuals.

His methodology centers on validating lived experiences, paired with critical analysis of structural challenges, and incorporates art therapy techniques to facilitate emotional expression and healing.

A graduate in systems and network engineering, Usmen also brings eight years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity.

Alongside his professional career, he has been involved in social change initiatives since 2014. Active within youth collectives, he has honed skills in designing workshops and trainings on intersectional feminism, positive masculinities, and cybersecurity, grounded in community-based education principles.

Today, Usmen is co-director of the consulting firm Fek Tayri, where he leverages his expertise to advance projects aligned with his values. He aspires to contribute to sustainable social change for a better, inclusive future for all.
